La più grande SAGRA DEL TOTANO DEL MONDO E' A CAPRAIA !.

La Sagra del Totano di Capraia è un appuntamento imperdibile che chiude la stagione turistica estiva a Capraia (si a Capraia l'estate finisce con la Sagra del Totano!).

La Sagra del Totano di Capraia consiste di due eventi principali, la Gara di Pesca del Totano e poi la Sagra vera e propria.
I due eventi principali sono previsti Sabato 31 Ottobre e Domenica 1 Novembre 2015..

La gara di pesca inizia alle ore 16.30 del 31 ottobre e prevede due categorie, mare e terra.
A mare partecipano due diverse sottocategorie barche a motore e barche a vela.
La partenza è un evento al quale partecipano a volte quasi 100 barche! Al termine della gara viene effettuata la pesatura dei totani pescati che è sempre un gran divertimento! Il giorno 1 novembre alle 12 premiazione della Gara di Pesca e poi inizio della Sagra del Totano dove si mangia!.

Sono previsti gli stand dei ristoranti dell'isola che prepareranno tutte specialità a base di totano..

Le iscrizioni alla gara di pesca si possono effettuare fino alle ore 16.30 di sabato 31 ottobre presso il porto di Capraia.
Per la Sagra della domenica si raccomanda di venire presto, i Totani finiscono presto!.
