Rothwell Marine began in 1984 when the founder, Jerry Rothwell, opened the business as service only in the small town of Hope, Arkansas after being involved in boating and fishing for many years.
In 1986 we moved to a larger location on one of the main highways in Hope due to increased business and the need for more exposure.
Continuing to grow over the next few years the business transformed into the second generation with the new owner Gregg Rothwell in 1992.
Then, in 1995 Rothwell Marine was again outgrowing it’s location and moved down the street to a location that had substantially more area, 1/2 of a city block, as well as abundant showroom and storage area.
In 1996 we entered retail boat sales with a full line of accessories in our new location.
Since then we have continually grown each year due to our increasing customer support..
Today Rothwell Marine still has one goal in mind…..
