It is one of the oldest clubs in NIT Rourkela which is the youth wing of Rotary International, which is an international service organization whose stated purpose is to bring together business and professional leaders in order to provide humanitarian services, encourage high ethical standards in all vocations, and to advance goodwill and peace around the world.

• Many aged people staying there were not homeless..

• They were left there to spend the rest of their lives because their families didn’t want them anymore..
