Detailed description is Rosey ist eine Gemeinde im französischen Département Haute-Saône in der Region Bourgogne-Franche-Comté.GeographieRosey liegt auf einer Höhe von 246 m über dem Meeresspiegel, etwa 11 km südwestlich von Vesoul (Luftlinie).
Das Dorf erstreckt sich im zentralen Teil des Departements, auf dem Plateau des oberen Saônebeckens, am Westfuß der Höhen, die sich zwischen den Flusstälern von Saône und Ognon erheben.Die Fläche des 14,64 km² großen Gemeindegebiets umfasst einen Abschnitt im Bereich des oberen Saônebeckens.
Der Hauptteil des Gebietes wird von einem Plateau eingenommen, das durchschnittlich auf 250 m liegt.
Es wird durch den Bachlauf Ruisseau de Vy-le-Ferroux, dessen Tal leicht in das Plateau eingetieft ist, nach Nordwesten zur Saône entwässert.
Das Plateau ist aus tertiären Sedimenten aufgebaut.
