Detailed description is The Bignall family moved back to the Caledonia area from Colorado Springs, Colorado in September, 2016.
Thom and JoAnn Bignall (both graduates of Caledonia High School) decided to start a business in the heart of Caledonia modeled after a franchise chain in Colorado.
The name of the business is Rocky Mountain Fruit, Nut & Gift.
Thom will manage the retail side involving sales of specialty pre-packaged dried fruits, nuts, granola, trail mixes, candies, snack items, and combination trays as well as many "Made in Michigan" and "Pure Michigan" products and novelty items.
While running the store, Thom will also be continuing his doctoral studies at Liberty University (Lynchburg, VA).
JoAnn will manage a customizable gift component of the business that will utilize various gourmet food items as well as items from within the store.
Her focus will be on gift baskets, gift boxes, gift mugs, gift bags, and many other gift related creations.
