Detailed description is We sell high quality alfalfa and grass hay in small square or round bales and raise ALL NATURAL, grass fed, freezer beef we raise and finish all of my beef cattle on my farm in Indiana in a clean and stress free enviroment.
I am proud of the quality of beef that I produce, and I am always striving to bring the best quality and natural beef to you at an affordable price! .
First off let me start by saying, we raise all natural, grass fed beef, meaning we DO NOT use any steroids implants or growth hormones.
All calves are born and raised right here on our farm.
They run on lush green grass most of the year until it goes dormant.
After that we only feed hay and just a little grain, all of which we raise ourselves.
That way we not only know where our cattle come from, we also know exactly what we are feeding them.

As for the process, the goal weight is 1200lbs.
at 1200lbs they are ready for the processor which we deliver for you for free.
After we drop it off you will call the processor to discuss how you would like your meat cut and packaged.
It takes about a week after I drop it off until the meat is ready for pick up.
We use This Old Farm in Colfax, IN to do our processing.

As for the cost, it is $1.80 a pound sold live weight.
So $1.80 x 1200lbs = $2160 for the whole cow for example.
Plus you will be responsible for the processing charges.
We sell it by the whole, 1/2, or 1/4 of a beef.
Please keep in mind the price will vary depending on the actual size of the beef..

To make a long story short it works out to about $5.00 per pound of finished product.

If you decide to buy a beef I require a non refundable deposit to lock down that beef for you.
Then after I dropped it off and we have a final weight we will know what the final price will be.
I just ask that you have me paid in full before you pick up your beef..
