Detailed description is RIT's House of General Science The House of General Science (HoGS) is a special interest house over a decade old.
We hold strong ties with the College of Science and College of Applied Science and Technology at RIT, the Rochester Museum of Science, and have good rapport with other Special Interest Houses on campus.
In addition to being an academically driven floor, we here on HoGS are a sociable bunch, doing a variety of activities together from apple picking to rock climbing, and even just watching movies in our lounge together.
We also do a variety of community service events around campus and in the greater Rochester area throughout the year..

Members on floor are for all kinds of sciences, and we do not only accept science majors into our House.
We have a variety of majors on floor, including, mathematics, chemistry, physics, industrial engineering, electrical engineering, software engineer, computer science, graphic design, international business, environmental sustainability, and civil engineering technology out of many!
