Risk Reduction Technologies

9110 W Ryan St

Sedgwick,

Kansas,United-states - 67205

Detailed description is In 2008 Gary Hainke put his electronics skills to work and created a technology .
for oil exploration called HMPA..
(Hydrocarbon Modulated Pulse Analysis) The purpose of this site is to allow my associates and potential clients, to follow the progress of a new.
Oil Exploration Tool, I have named the ENTERPRISE HSB SCORING TECHNIQUE.
"HSB" standing for (Hydrocarbon.
Specific Bacteria).
.
The purpose of this tool will be to identify tracts of land that are positive candidates for further exploration.
techniques, such as 3-D Seismic, etc....
In this case, the technique can act as an economical tool, providing.
risk reduction, when selecting prospect acreage..
.
The tool will also aid in the evaluation of multiple potential drill sites, and help to determine which prospective drill site .
shows the most promise, by comparing HSB scores of the various potential sites..
.
This technique will not be recommended for determining drill sites without other supporting data such as 3-D.
Seismic interpretations, etc......
.
If successful Howe ever, the technique will provide a very economical way to identify large tracts that warrant further.
exploration, and as I said also aid in the selection of drill sites, when associated with other information on a .
prospect..
.
The HSB technique is based on a technique that Phillips Petroleum developed years ago called M.O.S.T..
(Microbial Oil Survey Technique).
M.O.S.T is based on two assumptions.
One is that Hydrocarbons either directly, or indirectly, migrate to the surface .
of the earth at Microscopic levels.
.
The second assumption is that there are bacteria in nature that specifically consume Hydrocarbons..
.
Phillips Petroleum, assuming the above two assumptions were accurate, began taking soil samples from above .
known existing oil reservoirs, and was able to identify and culture Hydrocarbon Specific Bacteria from these samples,.
quantify their populations, and compare these populations against other "control" samples taken from areas known to.
be void of oil..
It was repeatedly demonstrated that Hydrocarbon Specific Bacterial populations existed in anomalous quantities when compared to other control samples..
The M.O.S.T.
technique is still used today and many exploration campaigns use this technique as a "first round tool" .
when narrowing down prospect acreage for further exploration..
.
Several labs exist that use the M.O.S.T.
technique and I myself conducted a study in Northern Russell County several .
years ago, in association with such a lab..
I conducted my test by acquiring soil samples from a tract surrounding a recent Wild Cat discovery which had proven.
to be a very productive well.
I took several other samples from areas around this lease that were known to be non-.
productive..
These samples were sent to the M.O.S.T.
lab and the results were astonishing.
Nearly all samples taken from the .
well area had anomalous bacterial populations in comparison to samples taken from the "dry" tracts..
.
I intended to pursue this tool further, when I became interested in another secondary tool known as Electrotellurics..
This tool proved to be very reliable in many cases, however the tool presented poor repeatability, and the equipment.
costs and evaluation costs were very expensive..
After several failures, I abandoned Electrotellurics and took a break from Oil Exploration entirely, never revisiting .
the M.O.S.T.
technique, to further evaluate its accuracy and repeatability..
.
Recently, I decided to revisit the Microbial technique, and have consulted with a Microbiologist in the development .
of my own HSB scoring technique..
The HSB technique makes the same assumptions that the M.O.S.T.
technique does, however my proposed method.
of identifying and scoring the Microbial populations is completely different, and will remain confidential through my postings..
My HSB technique, if successful, will be much less costly, than what the M.O.S.T.
labs charge for their sample evaluations..
Also, all evaluations will be conducted in-house, at my facility, without the reliance on other labs..
.
Looking at Bacterial populations in soil, to prospect for oil is not a new concept.
There are cheap methods that look.
at cumulative Bacterial populations in soil, and try to draw conclusions about Hydrocarbon Seepage based on these.
populations.
These techniques have proven to be very unreliable because they do not look at Bacteria that feed on .
Hydrocarbons specifically.
The M.O.S.T.
technique does look for Bacteria that specifically feed on Hydrocarbons.
and I feel this is key to why M.O.S.T.
has been more successful..
.
I have adopted the M.O.S.T.
technique as a foundation for my HSB technique, however I have completely changed the .
procedural techniques, and I believe these changes will make my HSB tool more reliable, and certainly more economical..
.
What you will see in postings here, are daily updates on the testing of the HSB tool, the progress, the results, and .
conclusions, as we take this tool and start evaluating it in controlled tests, to hopefully conclude the tool is in fact reliable..
If and when that point is reached, the testing will transition into commercial deployment..
.
Finally I would like to further address the "assumptions" made in the M.O.S.T.
technique and mentioned earlier here..
The first assumption, being that Hydrocarbons can "seep" to the surface from thousands of feet underground, is a hotly .
debated subject.
My personal view is that we know Hydrocarbons seep to the surface in "macro" or large quantities,.
over large, highly pressurized reservoirs.
A recently publicized example of that, would be "seeps" that are known to exist .
through the Ocean Floor in the Gulf Of Mexico.
My personal feeling is that if "Macro seepages" occur in nature, then it is .
probable Hydrocarbons seep to the surface in Microscopic quantities as well..
.
The second assumption, that Hydrocarbon Consuming Bacteria exist, has long been proven.
Such Bacteria are used to.
remediate oil spills, clean up oil contaminated sites etc.....
.
So knowing that the above assumptions are possible, if not probable, I have every reason to believe my HSB tool can be.
a success..
.
I welcome your interest and attendance as I begin to evaluate this tool!!.
