A 20 year restaurant veteran from San Antonio, Texas made his way to Big Sky Country.
His love for Mexican and Southwestern food inspired him to create a menu and a concept that was 100% original -- unlike anything Montana had ever experienced..

The first Rio Sabina's restaurant opened in Belgrade, Montana.
The restaurant was named after a favorite sportsmen's river, the 555 mile Sabine River, which runs along the border between Texas and Louisiana and empties into the Gulf of Mexico.
The Sabine River gets its name from the Spanish word “sabinas” which means cypress…the very tree that lines the banks of both sides of this lovely river.
