Originally from Manila, Philippines, Riezl Baker first discovered Reynolds Plantation while working for a corporate company in Atlanta where she met her husband Ted Baker, who was then working for the 1996 Summer Olympic Games.
“We love the outdoors and we would drive to Lake Oconee from Atlanta on the weekends to enjoy the fishing,” she says.
But fishing was not the only thing that motivated Baker and her husband to move to the area 17 years ago.
“The people in the Philippines are known for their hospitality and warmth, and seeing those same characteristics in the people of Lake Oconee attracted us most to this area,” says Baker..

Riezl and Ted Baker have been property owners and members of Reynolds Plantation since 1999.
With their two children, Stu (11) and Remi (7), the Bakers spend much of their time on the lake waterskiing, while also enjoying all the great golf courses.
Riezl has sold over $100 million dollars’ worth of properties since joining the sales team at Reynolds Plantation Properties, LLC in 1999.
Outside of work, she is very active in her community having served on numerous boards; including the Good Samaritan Hospital Board.
