Detailed description is Since 1994, the Rock River Chapter of Harley Owners' Group and "Ridin' to a Cure" has raised close to $3.8 million for breast cancer research in Wisconsin.
All net proceeds raised through donations and contributions are committed to the cause! Harley-Davidson riders are known world-wide for their ability and commitment to raise funds for worthy causes and Wisconsin Harley-Davidson and the Rock River H.O.G.

Since 1995, the Rock River Chapter, H.O.G.
and Wisconsin Harley-Davidson our sponsoring dealership have hosted the annual September event “Ridin’ to a Cure”.

The beginnings were tough, we had no manuals and no “How to Raise Money” books.
For volunteers, we tapped the biggest and best resource you can when you belong to a Harley Owners Group, our HOG Chapter, The Rock River.
With the help from our great group members, we all pulled together, and to all of our surprise, this ride became an annual event and took off in a big way!.

Fundraising began in 1995 with the first “pledge ride” motorcycle riding event that traveled a scenic route through Southeastern Wisconsin ending with food, music, prizes and a live auction for the participants.

On September 24, 1995 over 500 riders participated in the event and over $49,000.00 raised.
That was the most money ever raised by any Dealership/Chapter for a one-day event and it was only our first year.
Today, 19 years later, thanks to you, we have surpassed the $4,000,000.00 (yes, four million dollar) mark, now working on $5,000,000.00..
