Detailed description is The Pride of the Rockies marching band is a musical ensemble operating at the University of Northern Colorado and open to students of all majors.
The Pride is a fun and exciting non-competitive organization built on showmanship, teamwork, and musicianship of the members.
The group consists of woodwind, brass and percussion instrumentalists, as well as the Sugar Bears Dance Team. You do not need to be a music major to participate.

The class meets during the fall semester on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays from 4:40pm – 6:40pm.
Other time commitments include but are not limited to: Band Camp (required), home football games, homecoming parade and bonfire, as well as one away trip.
Band camp is held on campus the week before classes begin for the fall semester.
There are typically 5 – 6 home football games per season.
