Detailed description is You may call us REECA for short, and we're an organization dedicated to teaching and sharing about the cultures from Russia, East Europe, and Central Asia! The purpose of the Russian, East European, and Central Asian Club (REECA) is to organize cultural and educational activities, social gatherings, and other events on campus, in order to promote interest in and generate further awareness of Russian, East European, and Central Asian cultures.
Russian, East European, and Central Asian Club is composed of two groups: the executive board, and the general body.
The general body is open to any member of the Vanderbilt community.
REECA targets not only people majoring in Russian and Slavic studies; it is open to anyone interested in the cultures of the countries of the former Eastern bloc as well as Central Asian countries.
