Detailed description is A Rede Paulista de Comercialização Solidária de Materiais Recicláveis é um projeto patrocinado pela Petrobras, que tem como linha de atuação a geração de trabalho, emprego e renda.
Atua nos municípios de São Paulo, Osasco e Carapicuíba.
A Rede tem como principal objetivo o fortalecimento da atividade de coleta, triagem e comercialização de material reciclável para 271 catadores de 7 cooperativas.

Em 2006, um grupo de catadores do Centro de São Paulo iniciou um trabalho local com a coleta seletiva, que inicialmente era realizada com carroças pelas ruas do Centro de São Paulo, mais especificamente na baixada do Glicério.
a partir daí foi criada a CooperGlicério.
Os catadores atuam em questões relacionadas ao meio ambiente, desenvolvimento sustentável e a problemática dos resíduos na cidade de São Paulo.
Também sensibilizam a população através de palestras de educação ambiental e comercializam os recicláveis.
Com 06 anos de discussões, ações e atividades de educação ambiental , a Cooperglicério se tornou uma referência da cidade.
