Detailed description is O Recanto dos Pit Bulls fica em Goiânia e é uma organização de voluntários que tem sob sua tutela mais de 60 cães Pit Bull resgatados de maus tratos.
O Recanto dos Pit Bulls foi criado em 2013 para abrigar 57 cães que supostamente eram utilizados em rinhas em Aparecida de Goiânia/GO.
Após quase um mês de espera, a Justiça autorizou a retirada dos cães, que estavam caquéticos, e sua guarda provisória foi concedida ao Hammã Protetores de Animais.
Começava a história do Recanto..

Um batalhão de voluntários se revezou para arrumar o espaço para receber os cães e, após 40 dias, eles já mostravam nítidos sinais de melhora, embora muitos carreguem consequências para sua saúde desse período negro, pra sempre.
Depois de um ano de batalha judicial requerendo a guarda definitiva dos cães, o Recanto dos Pit Bulls enfim ganhou a causa, após o ex-"dono" dos cães abrir mão da guarda deles em razão de um acordo judicial..

Hoje o Recanto abriga, além dos animais resgatados nessa ação em Aparecida de Goiânia, também alguns cães que estavam no Centro de Controle de Zoonoses de Goiânia (CCZ), outros que já estavam sob a tutela do projeto Hammã e mais alguns que foram resgatados das ruas, vítimas de abandono e maus tratos.
Atualmente há, no local, mais de 60 cães..
