Große Dinge fangen meistens ganz klein an.
Und auch die Geschichte von RaveOnSnow beginnt mit einer guten Idee und ein paar Freunden.
Wir alle liebten das Boarden und auch das Feiern danach – doch Après-Ski mit Musikkonserven im Ballermann-Style war so gar nicht unser Ding.
Also beschlossen wir, einen Winterspaß mit arrivierten Techno-DJs auf die Beine zu stellen.
Das war 1993.
RaveOnSnow war geboren und bei der ersten Ausgabe feierten gerade mal 50 Freunde zur Musik von Acid Maria und Tom Novy in Sölden..

Der Rest der Geschichte ist schnell erzählt: Das Festival wuchs von Jahr zu Jahr, wanderte nach einem Zwischenspiel in Zell am See nach Saalbach/Hinterglemm aus und hat dort seit 1995 seine feste Heimat gefunden.
Inzwischen sind über 1.200 Stunden Party mit 1.100 DJs und über 100.000 Gästen zusammengekommen, die jedes Jahr mehr erleben können.
Langweilig wird RaveOnSnow nie, allein schon wegen der Vielfalt der Locations.
Vom kleinsten Après-Ski-Stadl bis zur Tennishalle – jeder Platz wird mit einem ausgesuchten Lineup bestückt, das jede angesehene Spielart elektronischer Musik abdeckt.
Und so findet jeder tagsüber im Skizirkus Saalbach/Hinterglemm mit seinen 200 Pistenkilometern genau die richtige Abfahrt; nachts dann ein fettes Clubangebot, wie man es sonst nur in Berlin finden kann.
Familiär ist RaveOnSnow trotzdem geblieben, dafür sorgen nicht zuletzt die Hoteliers in Saalbach und Hinterglemm, die uns seit vielen Jahren kennen und schätzen.
