L’Associazione Radio Soccorso Anagni nasce nel Dicembre del 2010, ma da anni già operante nel settore di Protezione Civile come distaccamento della Federazione Volontari Radio Soccorso.
Iscritta al registro della Regione Lazio con Determina n.
B7341 del 27/09/2011 e al registro del Dipartimento Protezione Civile con Determinazione P.C.M.

L’Associazione ha la propria sede logistica ed operativa ad Anagni in Via Strada Comunale Stazione Anagni Morolo ed opera con 21 volontari tutti operativi ed ognuno con incarichi specifici.
I settori di operatività vanno dall’antincendio boschivo; agli interventi, nei mesi invernali, relativi alle condizioni meteo avverse causate da neve, ghiaccio, e alluvioni; alle ricerche di persone disperse; alla presenza nelle manifestazioni; alla disinfestazione di imenotteri, all’assistenza a terra durante le fasi di atterraggio e successivo decollo delle eliambulanze presso l’eliporto di via San Magno; in sintesi in tutte le operazioni di soccorso alla popolazione..

L’Associazione Radio Soccorso Anagni opera con un mezzo Scam 4x4 polivalente allestito con modulo antincendio, pala spazzaneve e spargisale SnoWay; due fuoristrada Mitsubishi L200 con modulo antincendio da 400 lt, e una botte da 14.000 lt mentre le attrezzature a disposizione sono un gruppo elettrogeno carrellato da 50 Kw, gruppi elettrogeni di piccola potenza, una pompa idrovora di grandi dimensioni ed una di piccola, una torre fari da 2000 watt carrellata con relativo gruppo elettrogeno ed una torre fari Towerlight da 2000 watt, due carrelli appendice da trasporto attrezzature e materiale, oltre a tantissimo altro materiale da intervento..

L’Associazione si è distinta in varie calamità di carattere Nazionale come il terremoto in Umbria Marche, il terremoto a San Giuliano di Puglia, il terremoto in Abbruzzo, ed infine, con servizi vari a Roma, in occasione della morte del Sommo Pontefice Giovanni Paolo II.
