Detailed description is We raise pigs in the heart of the country.
R Family Farms is currently a GAP Step 3 rated farm where our pigs have constant access to the outdoors.
Kaden and Emily Roush have been raising pigs for close to 10 years (Kaden more of that than Emily).
Although this venture isn't what started Kaden's love of hogs, an opportunity came to him that would make raising pigs a way of life.
While away at college, Kaden planned what is now R Family Farms from the ground up, and after both Kaden and Emily graduated from K-State, they came back to Lebanon to build the farm.
Progress started on the hog farm starting in the fall of 2015 and was completed early 2016.
