Studio Policies.

-As of October 2013, the monthly fee for lessons is a flat rate of $92.00.
Individual lessons are pro-rated at $23.00 per half-hour for the purpose of crediting missed lessons.

Payments are due on the last week of the month for the following month.
We currently only accept personal checks or cash..

-The monthly flat rate is to reserve the teacher’s time for the month.
We do not operate on a “pay as you go” system.
All of our teachers are of the highest professional caliber.
They have spent considerable time and money becoming great teachers.
All of our teachers have university teaching degrees and are excellent musicians..

-It is hard for public and private school music teachers to provide individual attention.
We view our school as an extension to the music programs offered in the community.
Expert private instruction is invaluable to the proper training of a young musician..

-We realize that our students may also be enrolled in sports programs and other extracurricular activities.
We feel music instruction is of equal importance and should be considered when reserving a monthly time for your child to attend our classes..

-Our studio maintains a “no make-up” policy.
As a courtesy to students in good standing, with advance notice of the absence by phone or online, we will reschedule the lesson if possible.
We will not reschedule missed lessons in the event of a “no-show.”.

-If your instructor cancels a lesson, we will schedule a qualified substitute teacher.
If a substitute teacher is unavailable, a make-up or a credit will be given for the cancelled lesson..

-In the event of snow cancellations or other unforeseen circumstances where we are forced to close the studio, a make-up lesson or credit will be given..

-Our studio runs year-round and we do not follow public or private school schedules concerning vacations or holidays.
We observe the following holidays: Memorial Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day.
Holiday closings will be rescheduled or a credit will be issued if we are unable to do so..

-If a holiday or a missed lesson occurs in a month containing 5 weeks, the additional lesson will not be rescheduled.

-Consistent practicing is the key to success in learning to play a musical instrument or to improve vocal abilities.
Young students should be encouraged to practice on a regular basis.
