I had never been to a toy party in my life, granted I was freshly 21.
I said of course, and I couldn't have been more excited.
Fast forward to the party, the consultant starts off telling us 70% of their products are bath and body, only 30% are toys.
In my head, I lost all excitement.
I had no interest in adding more lotions and perfumes to my already overflowing assortment of products at home.
As she starts the party, I find my brain slowly turning a page, everything is sounding so much better than my first take.
I'm hearing "diminishes stretch marks", "helps with anxiety and depression", "safe on kids", and at this point I have everything on the first half of my wish list circled..

I set up my own party that night.
I wanted more, my brain wanted to take in the knowledge of these products over and over again.
I was a fan favorite at my sister's party for someone who would be good at selling.
I'll admit, I was a little over talkative, and I may have shared more than one embarrassing story.
Along comes my party, and I find myself listing off uses and descriptions before my consultant can.
At the end of that party she was set on making me a part of her team.

I know this journey is going to take me to so many new places, help me to meet tons of new people, and be what my little family needs to have a life worth living.
