We are a non-profit organization that, with the help of our members, is trying to bring people together in Punjabi Cultural Society is based in Sacramento, the capital of California.
It came into being in 1990.
The moving spirit behind it was S.

Every year two festivals are organized by The Society- ‘Visakhi’ in April and ‘Ladies Dance -Tian Mela’ in August.
Both these festivals are aimed at making the younger generation born and bought up in the west aware about the robust and vibrant Punjabi Culture.
The Society seeks the co-operation and participation of young scholars from colleges and universities young men and women go through rehearsals to inculcate in them the spirit of Punjabi Culture before they give a public performance.
