Detailed description is The Phi Theta Kappa Fraternity is a nationally recognized honorary scholastic organization whose objective is to promote scholarship, develop character, and cultivate fellowship among students in community colleges of the United States.
Kaskaskia College's chapter, Iota Omicron, helps students practice leadership skills and provide service opportunities to Kaskaskia College and Phi Theta Kappa sponsored projects.
Students are invited to membership after completing at least 12 hours of coursework over two semesters and earning a GPA of at least 3.50..
