Indigenous Leaders of Tomorrow (ILT) is a flagship school-based mentoring program delivered by the Northern Queensland Indigenous Schooling Support Unit, Department of Education, Training & Employment.
Indigenous Leaders of Tomorrow is a year long educational program for students in years 11 and 12 from across Far North Queensland.
The aim is to assist students to develop a skills base that enables them to be effective leaders in their schools, families and communities.
110 students are currently participating (in 2012) from 14 schools across the Far North Region from Tully to Thursday Island.
The equivalent Leadership program offered to the junior students across years 6/7/8/9 is known as the Indigenous Leaders for the Future (ILF).
120 students are currently participating (in 2013) at the junior level from 15 State Primary and Secondary schools across the Far North Queensland region..

The Indigenous Leaders of Tomorrow (ILT) program welcomes all students and support staff who have participated in the program throughout its many years.
