A segunda edição do prêmio Maravilhas Gastronômicas do Estado do Rio de Janeiro (Maravilhas RJ) apresenta, em dez categorias, sabores e saberes que estão intimamente ligadas à formação econômica, social e cultural do Estado: Da Água, Cachaças, Cafés, Cervejas, Conservas e Patê, Doces e Compotas, Laticínios, Mel, Queijos e Da Terra.
O Maravilhas RJ é idealizado pelo jornalista Chico Junior, escritor, pesquisador da gastronomia brasileira e autor dos livros Roteiros do Sabor Brasileiro e Roteiros do Sabor do Estado do Rio de Janeiro.
