Detailed description is Projet Technico-Humanitaire avec l'objectif de créer deux centrales solaires photovoltaïques pour alimenter un centre de santé et un dortoir Emmaüs Pahou est implantée au Bénin, à Pahou, commune située à 30 km à l’ouest de Cotonou.

La communauté y possède un site destiné à l’élevage (volailles, porcs, lapins, chèvres, poules) et à l’agriculture (maraîchage, champs d’ananas et de manioc)..
Une vingtaine de jeunes en difficulté, encadrés par un ancien compagnon et un technicien, vivent et travaillent sur place.
Après 2 ou 3 ans, ils quittent la communauté avec une formation qui leur permet de trouver un emploi..
Au premier semestre 2016, Emmaüs Pahou va construire deux nouveaux bâtiments : un Centre de santé et un centre d’hébergement pour les jeunes accueillis.

Le projet, mené en partenariat entre Emmaüs et notre lycée, concerne la conception et la mise en place de l’alimentation électrique de ces bâtiments, avec une source solaire photovoltaïque.

Il s’agit de disposer d’énergie électrique stable et propre pour assurer le bon fonctionnement des locaux.
De plus, ces équipements pourront servir à la formation locale de personnes ressources pour l'utilisation et la maintenance.
