Josemar, professor de Geografia e Presidente do PSOL São Gonçalo..Josemar Carvalho, 38 anos, é professor de geografia na Universidade Salgado de Oliveira (Campus de Niterói e São Gonçalo).
Leciona também a disciplina de geografia na rede estadual de ensino e na Prefeitura de Itaboraí..
Como grande atuante dos movimentos sociais, começou a sua militância no movimento estudantil secundarista em 1991..
Em 1992 participou do "Fora Collor".
Em 1996, participou do movimento de Transportes.
Na segunda metade dos anos 90, como estudante universitário, participou do DA de Geografia e do DCE da UFF..
Foi membro do Coletivo estadual de juventude do PT na mesma época.
Partido da qual se desligou em 2003, quando discordou dos rumos do Governo Lula para fundar o PSOL (Partido Socialismo & Liberdade).
Agremiação política da qual é membro do Diretório Nacional/Estadual.
Sendo também Presidente do Partido no município de São Gonçalo..
Fui candidato da coligação PSOL-PCB nas eleições de 2008 e 2012, obtendo respectivamente 14.246 e 19.510 votos..
Atualmente é 1º Suplente de Deputado Estadual pelo PSOL-RJ..
