Detailed description is The club was formed in 1975 for local car enthusiasts to join together in the common enjoyment of the hot rod and custom car hobby.
Pretzel City Street Rods was formed in June 1975.
We had 15 Charter Members.
The club went through many trying times with membership dropping low, funds were at a minimum so we decided to open the doors to cars up to and including 1963 Customs.
Renewed interest and new members breathed new life into what is now called Pretzel City Rod & Custom Car Club.
This all came about in August 1984.
With this change also came what we call a Family Membership.
This gave the right to actively participate in club meetings and all other club functions, including holding elected office to all the wives & girlfriends of club members.
There was mixed emotions on this, but it turned out to be one of the best things to ever happen to Pretzel City Rod and Custom Car Club..

We believe the youth of today is our investment of the future.
Street Rodding is good clean fun and a good way to have kids grow up and get involved..

Pretzel City can be found at local Parades, Civic Functions, Openings, as well as Rod Runs, Car Shows and Cruise Nights..

We are a non-profit organization and we pick 2-3 charities each year to help.
We have our Rod Run each year on Father's Day.
Currently it is held at the Oley Valley Fair grounds.
The Oley Valley Fair Grounds if a great facility for a show with unlimited space for vehicles.
A wonderful variety of food is available, along with a Chinese auction, free Bingo, games and many door prizes.

This past year our Rod Run show had an attendance of 300+ vehicles.
We also have a Fall Mall show and Spring Mall Show at the Berkshire Mall.
We hold monthly meetings every second Tuesday of the month at Bowl O Rama in Reading.
These meetings start at 7:30 P.M.
We presently have 23 members not counting wives or girlfriends.
The President of our club is Mike Colon .
You have to be 16 years old to join our club.
We also have opened up the years of our cars.
Our club is always open to new membership..
