I have been a passionate outdoor enthusiast for many years and getting involved in activities such as orienteering, fishing, kayaking, boating, 4wdriving, and camping.
Since stumbling across the Subaru Forester I have been impressed with the performance, versatility, and all round capabilities of the car and its ability to get me to all these places to enjoy all the vast hobbies and outdoor Australian lifestyle.

After Joining the Subaru 4WD Club at the youthful age of 20 my interest in off-roading has gained, so have my skills, abilities and knowledge.
Over this time I have taken on committee roles in the Subaru 4WD Club and a more senior role in the club, becoming a regular trip leader and providing advice for alterations, upgrades and enhancements to the vehicles..
During my time on club trips, and adventures out with friends I have tested the Forester to its absolute limits many a time, with mixed results learning what the car can do, and what it’s simply not able to do.
It’s from these lessons that I have gained very high and refined driving techniques for a variety of off-road terrains.
