Ha preso lo spunto dal muro reale che circonda e chiude la Città di Betlemme come un carcere a cielo aperto..

Dal 2006, cioè dall’inizio del Progetto “Ponti non muri”, sostiene l'orfanotrofio della Crèche di Betlemme, che attualmente ospita fino a 120 bambini di età compresa tra 0 e 6 anni, orfani, abbandonati o che vivono in situazione di povertà.
Oltre al sostegno diretto, tramite il ricavato delle varie iniziative, ha attivato un progetto di adozione a distanza dei bambini..

Inoltre, “Ponti non muri” sostiene la squadra di atletica leggera di Gerico Shabab Ariha, l'unica mista di tutta la Palestina, attraverso il progetto “Lo sport: un ponte per la Palestina”: dal 2014 organizza uno stage di 15 giorni a Sassari, in collaborazione con la squadra di atletica leggera del CUS Sassari (Centro Universitario Sportivo) e con uno staff di allenatori che ha trentennale esperienza in questo campo, in modo tale da dare ad alcuni giovani atleti di Gerico la possibilità di uscire dal loro isolamento e di confrontarsi e conoscersi coi ragazzi di Sassari attraverso lo sport.
