Detailed description is We are raising funds for Minnesota Police Canine Units for purchase of protective vests and equipment for the vests for the dogs.
The Police K9 INvest Project came together in the spring of 2013, with group of eight Minnesota friends and coworkers who recognized the need for protective K9 vests for their local Police K9 Unit.
The Minneapolis Police K9 Unit was the first and, with the help of the community and companies who support our cause..
From May of 2013 to October 2013, we acted as a special designated fundraising project under the guidance of the Minneapolis Police K9 Foundation, and we sincerely appreciated the opportunity to engage and become acquainted with the K9 unit and the foundation.

As of October 2013, We became a non-profit, tax exempt organization.
We want to thank everyone for their support as we made this transition, which allows us to serve additional law enforcement K9 units needing vests.
Our group is also available to help other community groups develop their fundraising efforts to support their local law enforcement K9s, with marketing strategy, graphic design, and advisement.

We are Minnesota based, not affiliated or represent any vest manufacturer, and as “free spirits” we can supply the K9 unit with vests they prefer for their dogs.
