-Please come to your appointment mascara free with nothing on your lashes.
Please do not use an oil based cleanser the day of your lash appointment.
If your lashes are not squeaky clean, the glue will not adhere to your lashes and any debris or dirt on your lashes will cause a barrier.
This will dramatically reduce how long your extensions will stay on..

-Expect your appointment to take up to 2 hours depending on the amount of lashes you have..
Please remember that everyone has different lashes, just like hair.
You cannot have the "same set" of lashes as your friend.
The shape of your eyes, how your lashes grow and the amount and length of your lashes are all factors.
Lashes are hair, they grow how they grow.
Lashes can have kinks, cowlicks and spaces..
Please be aware that if you have had a previous lash application that lasted about an hour, that the probability of having had your lashes glued together is high.
Most certified and trained lash artists will not complete a full set in under 2 hours.

If you are coming in for a fill from another lash artist, you may have to have most of your previous extensions removed..
-Within the first few hours after the placement of your lash extensions, please try to wash your lashes with baby shampoo or an extremely gentle non oil based face wash.
I recommend oil free makeup remover by Neutrogena..
This dramatically reduces the risk of developing an allergic reaction to the lash adhesive.
It is paramount that you wash your extensions within a 24 hour period after your lash application.

-In the shower, be careful to not let the pressurized water of the shower head directly fall on your lashes, but yes get them wet so they get clean!.

-When you get out of the shower, blow dry your lashes, yes blow them! Keep your dryer about arms length away and dry them for about 10-15 seconds.
This fluffs up your lashes and gets them going in the right direction.
If you dont shower in the morning, wet your lashes and blow dry them..
-Please be gentle with your lashes, no picking, pulling or rubbing, this will harm your natural lashes.
The more you touch your lashes, the faster they will fall out..

-Do not use any oil based cleansers or makeup product in or around your lashes.
Oil is one of the fastest ways for the lash adhesive to lose it's hold..

-Do not use an eyelash curler or any waterproof mascara and if you sleep with a sleep mask, this will greatly stress your lashes and can result in faster fallout of your extensions.
Mascara is ok, not recommended but ok.
Just keep in mind, you need to be using a water based mascara or one specifically made for lash extensions..
DO NOT use waterproof mascara, volumizing or conditioning.
These mascaras will interact with the glue..

-You will lose more extensions on the side you sleep on and expect to lose a few a day, since it is natural to lose a few eyelashes a day.
If you have oily skin, you will lose your lashes faster than someone with a dry skin type.Sometimes you will feel you lost more lashes after a fill than other times, this can be due to weather, activity and many other variables..

-Yes! you can use a lash growth formula and it is highly recommended! If you have blond delicate lashes then using a product like GrandeLash is highly advised.
Although volume lashes tend to not stress your natural lashes at all, if you want longer extensions then using a lash growth will get you there!.

- More than doubling the length of your natural lashes isnt advised ever, the extensions will twist and not be supported and you will likely lose them faster.

We use a glue specific to lash extensions.
After using many many glues over the years, finally a couple different ones win.
Most every glue on the market is the same.
Same compounds.
Same ingredients.
There are some glues that dry faster but all have the same core ingredients.
Sky glue, Alluring brand & Jet Set to name a few are what we use.
If you have a sensitivity to one, you have a sensitivity to ALL.
Yes thats right, since all are typically the same.
Its like comparing Cola or motor oil.
Different brands, same core ingredients..
We use synthetic lashes.
They are what 99% of all lash artists use.
Mink lashes are a whole other controversy.
If you are being sold mink lashes and charged more than $5 extra for your lash service you are being taken.
Real Mink lashes are animal fur, they are not much more monetary wise and should not be marked up.
Many lashes come described as mink when they are not.
Dont believe they hype about mink.
