Detailed description is Depuis sa création en 1974, la piscine intercommunale a fait le bonheur des enfants et habitants de la Vallée Verte au fil des saisons estivales.
Un équipement Ô combien précieux et singulier pour un petit territoire rural comme la Vallée Verte..
Usée après 40 années de bons et loyaux services, la piscine ferma ses portes à l’issue de la saison 2014 sur décision du Conseil Communautaire de la CC de la Vallée Verte qui décida de lui donner une seconde jeunesse en actant une réhabilitation complète de l’équipement..
Après deux saisons manquées, la piscine intercommunale dévoile son nouveau visage en 2017 : vestiaires intégralement rénovés et accessibles à tous, bassin inox de 25 mètres, pataugeoire ludique de 60 m², un solarium, un snack avec terrasse sur la partie supérieure du bâtiment..
En raison des travaux et des aléas de chantier, la piscine n’aura malheureusement pas pu ouvrir ses portes au mois de juin 2017 pour que les scolaires de la vallée puissent profiter du programme « Savoir Nager ».
Mais rassurez-vous, la piscine sera bien ouverte du mois de juin au moins d’août pour les prochaines décennies..
« La Vague » est le nom donné à la nouvelle piscine intercommunale, en hommage à la signature visuelle donnée par l’Atelier d’architecture Pierre Bajulaz et les vagues qui déferlent sur les façades du bâtiment.
