Detailed description is At Pettigrew Quality Meats, we strive to raise high quality beef and pork at a cost that is affordable to everyone.
We always raised our own beef and pork for our freezer.
We did not think of it as a business until we shared that meat with our family and friends and they all couldn't get enough of it and kept asking if we would sell the meat we raised.

So, November of 2015 we invested in some beef cattle, our registered polled Herefords, and in 2016 we invested in some Holsteins, a registered Poland China sow and a registered Berkshire sow so that we could sell meat to our friends and family at an affordable cost.

We looked at the going prices of meat at our quality and the expenses to raise this meat and felt that the going prices were way too high and unaffordable for most.
So we tried to find a price point that pointed to our quality above your store brands but that also would be affordable to everybody.
