Established in 1962, it is run by the People's Education Trust.
It is an autonomous institute from year 2008 under Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belgaum and is recognized by AICTE.
It offers undergraduate courses in Engineering and postgraduate courses in Engineering and MBA.OverviewP.E.S.
College of Engineering, Mandya is affiliated to the Visveswaraiah Technological University and is recognized by the All India Council of Technical Education, New Delhi.
Previously it was affiliated to the University of Mysore.
It is an institution functioning under the grant-in-aid scheme of Government of Karnataka.
The College was established in 1962 by People's Education Society currently known as People's Education Trust (R), with the help of philanthropic farmers of Mandya District.
