In addition to my Masters of Social Work degree completed in 1998, I have been a Registered Play Therapist since 2002; a Certified Trauma and Loss Consultant since 2010; and a Certified Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapist (TF-CBT) since 2013.
Additionally, I earned certification to practice Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR) in 2015, which makes me one of just a handful of therapists in the northern Michigan region qualified to administer this incredibly valuable form of treatment to all age groups..
