Hello everyone! My name is Joyce Beardslee and I am the owner of Peace of Mind Pet Sitting.
I started this business in the fall of 2013, however I have been pet sitting for friends and families for many years.
I have been told repeatedly by many people that I should start my own business, so here it is!.

Peace of Mind Pet Sitting is located in Westfield Massachusetts but I travel throughout all of Western Mass and beyond.
This business is fully insured and bonded.
I am able to come to your place of residence to care for your animal(s) daily/nightly or they are more than welcome to come stay with me in my home.
The animals that I currently care for are cats and dogs.
Having had many cats and dogs of all breeds and sizes growing up I am very knowledgable about breed traits and behaviors.

My fee is determined upon a free individual consultation with you and your animal(s).
I charge per visit and am happy to stay as long as your animal(s) need me, or until my schedule says otherwise! Along with pet sitting I also provide daily visits if an owner is stuck at work for long periods of time or is away from home just for the day, dog walks in your neighborhood or local park, and trips to the groomer’s and/or vet’s office.
Additionally I provide house sitting.
I am more then happy to bring in your mail and paper, change lighting and blinds/curtains, bring out/in trash and recycling, care for fish, water plants, and so on.
The house sitting fee will be wrapped into the price of the pet sitting..

I am available most holidays year round and will of course give all clients advance notice if I am taking time off for myself.
I pride myself on always being on time for a client and being thorough in my work.
Your animal(s) will be in trusting, loving and experienced hands.
Along with my pet sitting I volunteer and foster for local animal shelters such as Feline Friends Cat Sanctuary and Dakin Humane Society.
Working with these amazing rescue organizations has helped me gain experience caring for animals of all ages and with various medical conditions.
There is no better feeling in the world then caring for an animal.

Before your animal is placed in my care, we must set up a meet and greet so I can get to know your animal(s) and vice versa.
I do not want to be a stranger to them but more of a friend.
I take my job seriously and want to make sure your animals have the best care when you are away.
I do require all animals that I care for be up to date on vaccines and go to a veterinarian regularly.
If you do choose to have your animal(s) stay in my home please know that I have dogs and cats of my own of all sizes and ages.
My house is large with a fenced in backyard and woods behind it.
I know my animals would love company but please plan accordingly..
