HI! My name is Shana and welcome to my Pet sitting page.
A little about me, I was born to work with animals.
My mother told me that they could sense I could help and they would just show up at our door.
So, I made my love for them a career.

I have been in the Veterinary field for a little over 15 years.
I started in the kennel and worked my way up to Vet Technician.
I loved being a Tech but I needed a change, not from animals just a different business, my own! That is how Paws for a While Pet sitting and Servies became..
If you are like me, my pups are my children.
When I have to leave them behind it breaks my heart each time.
It makes it so much easier knowing they are being taken care of and loved by someone I trust.
That is my main goal, to make you feel like you can go away for a vacation or go to work and not worry that they are having anxiety in a cage at a boarding facility or not going to make it without an accident beacuse you have to work all day.
I offer pet sitting in my home if your pet gets along with my 2 very socialized dogs, or I will come to your home 3 times a day [more if requested].
All pet sitting visits include feeding and water change, walking/exercise, litter box cleaning, and plenty of TLC.
We will also bring in your mail/newspapers/ packages, alternate lights, water your plants, take in/out trash cans, administer medication (if necessary) and clean up any pet messes at no additional cost..

I do mid day potty and play breaks and I also offer doggie day care in my home.
If you would like to have me sit in my home, we would do a meet and greet with my 2 dogs, Peanut, a 4 yr old lab mix and Cooper a 1 yr old Boston terrier.
Both are very socialized as they both grew up in Vet hospitals.
