Introduction:.
The area of District Swat is about 5337 km2 with a large population of 1.7 million people.
Mostly people of swat depend on agriculture and tourism.
The people have been flourished with a moderate temperature due to cool water, flowing rivers, melodious waterfall, chirping birds, the sweet smell of flowers and fresh fruits.
They have been enjoying a peaceful environment for centuries.
They are simple, hospitable and more educated than others in the Province, but unfortunately the people living here are backward and extremely poor.
According to the report of Malakand Rural Development Program (MRDP); 72% people in swat are living under the poverty line.
