Detailed description is Home of the Best Mexican Food!!! It all started in 1989 when a dream came to me, “The American Dream”.
It wasn’t until December 16, 1991 when my life began in the United States.
When I didn’t know anything about cooking, a friend told me that I “looked like a restaurant guy”.
During the next six years I had the opportunity to work in three Mexican Restaurants.
My dream and need obligated me to dedicate myself to the kitchen.
With the acquired experience I began a bigger dream, the dream to open my own business.
More than four people told me that I was crazy, when I didn’t even know how to speak English very well, and I wanted to open my own restaurant, but my dreams and decision were greater.
Thanks to my friends that told me that I couldn’t do it, and their negative way of thinking, I made my dream come true.
Thanks to them I am where I am: “Papa Poblano’s Mexican Café”..
The name began when God blessed me with fatherhood.
This is the first part of the name “Papa”.
“Poblanos” comes from the poblano chile.
This is the chile used for chile rellenos, my favorite food.
Therefore, “Papa Poblano’s Mexican Cafe” was born September 10, 1999.
Since then many people enjoy our delicious food.
