Esse inusitado espanhol ocupa um sobrado onde, há mais de 50 anos, foi a fundição da família Benedetti.
Com o fim da fundição, o patriarca construiu duas casas para seus filhos.
Um deles, Emilio Benedetti, tornou-se genro do espanhol José Gutierrez Espin, conhecido como “Pepe”, que lhe passou a tradição de fazer paella aos amigos e familiares.
