‘Paddys Give Back…to Veterans’ is the brainchild of Cork native Sean Cunningham and was born while thinking of a way for the Irish community to do something “real” for U.S.
military veterans..

The Irish, much like many other nationalities, have played an integral role in the long and distinguished existence of the US military.
The many veterans and their families who have proudly served this great country, who live among us in our everyday lives, are owed a special debt.
Native Irish born or descendants of Ireland represent the highest number of Medal of Honor Recipients of any foreign Nation, we dedicate our efforts in tribute to them.
It must be noted that only 1% of this great country actually wears the uniform, they and their families deserve more than our heartfelt and genuine “Thank You”.

Paddys Give Back …to Veterans is an event on May 22nd 2016 being organized by a team with a distinctive Irish heritage.
We embody the strengths of our culture of decency, loyalty, vibrancy, music and emotion, these attributes along with our general fun loving “mischievousness” and “can do” attitude provide us the energy; that will raise funds to provide much needed and appreciated resources for all US Veterans..

Paddy’s Give Back has selected Fisher House Boston as its charity of choice.
FH is a national organization, best known for its network of comfort homes where military and veterans’ families can stay, at no cost, while a loved one is receiving treatment.
They also offer many other levels of support to sick or wounded veterans and their families.
We have selected Fisher House Boston for three reasons, (1) to utilize our donations locally, (2) they have no high paid executives, 96%+ of raised funds go directly to “the cause” benefiting Veterans and their families, (3) less than 4% spent on indirect expenses.
