We are conveniently located on 10 private acres, only 1 mile South of Perry County Courthouse on Route 13/127 in Pinckneyville, Illinois.
The home was built in 1929 and converted to a bed and breakfast by the proprietors Peggy, and the late, Dr.
Al Doughty in 1985.
Our namesake comes from Al’s hobby of up-cycling old barn wood materials.
One of his most unique creations, the Oxbow bed (featured in select rooms), is a massive bed frame constructed from old barn timbers, that combines it’s design with an Oxbow to create a serene retreat for your stay..
