Detailed description is Large inventory of natural unfinished driftwood pulled from the waters of the Outer Banks of North Carolina.

Here at Outer Banks Driftwood, we do carry "Coastal Driftwood" that is pulled from an inlet(Oregon Inlet) and a coastal region(Outer Banks of N.C.) located on the East Coast.
We do not carry and sell wood promoted as "Coastal Driftwood," that came from an inland river running through a major metropolitan city that is not located on the coast.
And, no, we do not blow smoke at you pretending that we have some "Fancy Nancy" 5 step process of cleaning, pressure washing, drying, air blowing, and bristle brushing our driftwood that supposedly sets us above all of our competitors.
We do own and occasionally use a pressure washer, when needed, to clean driftwood.
We do this when requested or when a piece is covered in marsh mud.
Pressure washing can and will take away the gray/white weathered look of driftwood that a lot of people like.
But, that being said, pressure washing can bring back the burnt orange look to a weathered piece of Red Cedar that others like.
Whatever floats your boat.
Just let us know.
And, if not done properly, pressure washing driftwood can and will splinter the wood.
A lot of times a good-old-fashioned garden hose with a jet nozzle is the better alternative.
No, we do not use "a specialty"soap nor do we ever plan on using a "specialty soap," as some of these miracle products can and will discolor driftwood.
For drying, we normally we use the giant orange ball of fire in the sky to naturally dry our wood, but at times we have to go the extra mile.
Our "mechanical" drying technique is...., yes the conventional oven that we use to quickly dry wet wood(that will fit in it) for rush orders.
We do not have an special air compressor to blow debris out of the nooks, holes, and groves.
But, we do have an electric leaf blower and we use it all the time on wood.
It will blow anything out of a piece of driftwood that is not permanently attached to it.
PS: It is also a good tool to use to blow water out of your cell phone when you accidentally leave it in your Blue Jeans and hear it clanging around in the washing machine(this technique worked last week).
Cell phone still works! Bristle brushing? I am not even going there...
