Detailed description is A hybrid of fun yoga and creative movement classes for children and teens, ages 1-17, on Martha's Vineyard.
Classes are taught by a trained Children's Yoga Working with children has always been a passion of mine.
I started working with children through babysitting and nannying, then moving into working at an indoor children's play facility on the South Shore, as an Assistant Manager.
I then switched gears to teaching Toddlers, and then Pre-School, to Pre-Kindergarten, and now working with fifth and sixth graders.
I am always searching for new ways to learn and educate.

Currently, I am an assistant teacher, Girl Scout Leader, Circulation Assistant, babysitter and active yogi, on Martha's Vineyard..

Recently, I became a certified Children's Yoga Instructor for kid's and teens, from ages 1-17, after deepening my own understanding and practice of yoga.
The training I received, by Creative Kid's Yoga, helped me view yoga and creative movement in a whole new way.
Finding various ways for children to move their bodies, in confidence, and express themselves freely, is a way of recognizing and channeling their true inner-selves.

My personal practice and background in working/teaching children has helped me construct a fun and exciting way for children and teens to experience love, exercise, mindfulness and movement, to help identify themselves.

In classes, children will learn to incorporate play, breathing techniques, music, art, movement exploration and self-calming tools, to leave each class taking peace with you throughout your day.
