Started in 1984 with a Guy, a DREAM and a mop bucket...
Within 2 months of first starting out, the business doubled, 2 guys, 2 mop buckets, and a buffer! Omega's reputation quickly spread.
We were the first around with a buffer for floors, in the area, and word spread.
Soon we again doubled in size! As with any company you must evolve, take risk, and pounce on opportunities...
In the Spring of '86 I was asked if I could "wash the front sidewalk." I of course said sure and found a place that I could rent a pressure washer...
Soon after, each store we cleaned was asking if we could do their front sidewalk! So like clock work every 3 months they wanted their "sidewalks washed." This continued for several years...
Here and there I would pick up another client and we kept right on growing! It was in late '90 when I got asked to perform another task I was unfamiliar with, "could you clean our parking lots also?" So of course I said sure, and like that, I was into the parking lot sweeping business.
Of course it was a little more literal back then, I started with a couple brooms and dust pans...
By the spring of '91 I was able to get my first Parking Lot Sweeping Truck! It was the fall of '93 when my son started working with me, my company had went from a business to a Family Business! As we continued to grow other opportunities arose...
In the Summer of '96 my son was asked by a Manager of one of the stores we cleaned, if he would be interested in mowing the store's grass, he said yes, and with a push mower and trimmer we were into the lawn care business...
Now with 2 sweeper trucks, commercial floor cleaning services, our very own pressure washer and trailer, and now getting into the lawn care business also, we needed a bigger place...
As I started looking for a new place, just like clock work, I was asked yet again a question, "Would you be interested in Snow Plowing?" And like that I was into the snow removal business in the winter of '96.
