Detailed description is Olive Grove Ministries’ mission is to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ through Music, Song and the Spoken Word throughout the world.
James “Jamie” Gardner is an avid musician who has performed and entertained the public around the nation and those closest to him.
An array of his musical lifestyle has been shared equally with his family, in the military, and as a soloist.
His passion for singing, competing, and playing musical instruments has played a significant role in his life and in the realm of music ministry.

The son of an Air Force photographer and minister, Jamie became accustomed to an array of military and ministry singing passages.
At age nine, he had his first encounter with music while participating and singing in the church choir, and playing a musical instrument.
Over time, his musical abilities flourished in guitar, bass guitar, trumpet, drums, piano and most notably as a vocalist.
By age twelve, Jamie was a member of his family’s southern gospel group “The Singing Gardner Family.” In 1982, Ron Gardner accepted a position as a national evangelist that took his family on a tour throughout the United States and Canada.
During this extended travel, Jamie took an interest in pastoral ministry.
In 1984, he accepted a position at a church in Lobeco, South Carolina.
The ministry brought many challenges to the young pastor, whereas, his involvement and loyalty to the Lord made for a rewarding educational experience..

In 1985, Jamie enlisted in the U.S.
Air Force.
He entered and sang in various talent contests, most notably the Air Force Worldwide Talent Contest.
The contest prepared him for an opportunity to audition for “Tops in Blue,” a prestigious performing group that entertains the military and civilian communities worldwide.
In 1986, he was selected to tour with “Tops in Blue.” Jamie also toured with the 8th Air Force Band of Barksdale AFB, Louisiana.
In 1991, as an Air National Guardsman, he toured with the Air Force Band of the Smokey Mountains, McGhee-Tyson ANG in Knoxville, Tennessee.
