The Castle Dracula Facebook page is now called 'Old Panama City Beach' it is a place to recall those memories of bygone days on Panama City Beach.
Memories of homegrown attractions like Goofy Golf, Jungle Land, Tombstone Territory, Ghost Town and Castle Dracula Wax Museum.
They're all gone today, with the exception of Goofy Golf and Fun-Land.

Castle Dracula was constructed in 1976 and burned down in 1987.
It was one of many local attractions that offered tourists a brief diversion from the sand and surf.
The facade was styled after European Castles with a moat and gas lights for authenticity.
That's where any authenticity ended because the rest of the building was a typical steel building.
There were three walkways over the moat.
The one at right led to the entrance of the museum, The one at left led to the inescapable Gift Shop and the one in the center allowed visitors to view a sample museum display at no cost.
Most visitors elected to tour the wax museum.
The interior of the museum was a dimly lighted and twisting hallway with displays (behind glass or bars) based on horror in film or real life.
Among the numerous displays were an electrocution scene with flying sparks, a guillotine with flowing blood and a medieval torture chamber complete with screaming voice-overs.
There was a rather impressive scene where Lou Ferrigno turned into the "Hulk".
In the local advertising, this was called the "Incredible Lou Ferrigno" rather than "The Incredible Hulk", due to Stan Lee's disapproval.
Wax was a bit of a misnomer as all of the human figures were mannequins wearing "Don Post" latex masks.
Don Post was a famous Hollywood special effects artist that offered a line of horror masks.
However, not all elements of the wax museum had a horror theme.
The final display was a "light show" with an impressive one-way-mirror lined, octagonal room with a slideshow, light effects and a booming soundtrack.
In the first two years, the Light Show was operated by an employee with a knack for music and timing of lights.
In the following years the Light Show was automated.
The lucky visitor pressed a start button and the show began.
The music included the theme to Star Trek, the movie Rocky and the TV program Rockford Files.
During the show, lights behind the mirrors would illuminate the "stars" of the museum - Elvis Presley and the rock band "Kiss".
Of course, the last stop for those that toured Castle Dracula Wax Museum was the gift shop.

The author of Castle Dracula page was employed as an airbrush artist in the gift shop.
The airbrush booth was next to the museum exit.
With very few exceptions, those that toured Castle Dracula were very pleased with the wax museum and most would happily browse the gift shop..
