Detailed description is OK Corral is a Romanian electronic music project established by Tiberiu Jakab & Bogdan Danciu (aka Vania & Thornado)..
OK Corral consists of two members, Tiberiu Jakab and Bogdan Danciu, both being established DJs in Romania for over 10 years.
Previously using the monickers of Vania and respectively Thornado, Tiberiu and Bogdan set up OK Corral at the end of 2007.
Their love for music has lead the two through many struggles with genres over time, and their search for improvement has nurtured OK Corral’s current approach on dance music.
Despite being rather ecclectic, OK Corral’s style is very robust at the same time, easily identifiable and with traceable influences of funk, disco and house.

The first OK Corral release was “Sandscape”, an EP supported by many detroit techno DJs including the likes of Laurent Garnier, Chymera, Paul Nazca, Taho or Christian Smith, just to name a few.
The EP was followed by “Planetarium” EP, the “Romania” track on “Great Summer Games Stuff” compilation, and “Pink Shue EP”, which includes a superb Jori Hulkkonen remix.
2010 started their progressive switch of musical style towards funk and disco, leading to their next EPs, “Roar Power”, “Hypnotic Consortium” and “Glorya” and also to many remixes and even to some bootlegs available as free downloads on their OK Corral soundcloud page.

The first OK Corral video, for an older, previously unreleased track called “Disco Years” has received good feedback and had moderate impact in the Romanian dance music community.
“Disco Years” was first released on youtube in September 2012 and is now followed by “Off Course Remorse”, with a mashup video available on the official OK Corral youtube channel since the beginning of February.

2013 looks very promising for the duo, with a future EP on Phonique’s “Ladies and Gentlemen” label, tons of parties, new tracks in the making and most likely a third video.
