Detailed description is The Office of Safety & Security within the Department of Residence Services is committed to providing a safe and secure living, learning environment in the residence halls at Kent State University Security Aides patrol all of the residence halls on campus between 8:00 pm - 2:30 am, Sunday - Wednesday and 8:00 pm - 4:00 am Thursday - Saturday.
Students receive over 100 hours of training before they are permitted to be a Security Aide, are CPR/Basic First Aid trained and do rounds on their own..
