North Union Middle School Athletic Director Interscholastic athletics is an essential aspect of North Union’s educational curriculum.
Interscholastic athletics at North Union provide students with the opportunity to participate in athletics in which the student-athlete will gain valuable skills for success in the 21st Century.
Skills acquired while participating in athletics can include critical thinking, communication, and work ethic.
North Union Athletic Department also requires, North Union student-athletes to be students first, therefore the purpose of the program is no different than the North Union academic purpose.

North Union Athletics defines a successful athletic program as playing a vital role in the success of each student-athlete in the classroom, competition, and community.
Each athletic program should be conducted to provide student-athletes with quality experiences that will develop favorable habits and attitudes which will prepare them for adult life in society.
Our athletic teams will have clear objectives for each level of play.
Each level of play will have different guidelines to determine if the program is successful.
The guidelines include fun in athletics, development of athletes, and the overall result of each season.
North Union Athletics will strive to hire, develop, and maintain qualified coaches to ensure success in each athletic program.

North Union Middle School interscholastic competition takes place in the Central-Ohio League Conference.
